Myanmar reports 10 new COVID-19 positive cases

Yangon [Myanmar], June 8: Myanmar confirmed 10 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 613,397 on Tuesday, according to its health ministry.
The ministry said health authorities tested 5,447 people for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was 0.18 percent.
It added that the death toll from COVID-19 in the country remained unchanged at 19,434 as no new deaths were confirmed in the past 24 hours.
The total number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 in the country reached 592,385 on Tuesday after 35 more patients newly recovered in the past 24 hours.
