Philippines logs 1,841 new COVID-19 cases

Manila [Philippines], July 20: The Philippines reported 1,841 new COVID-19 infections on Tuesday, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country to 3,737,222.
The Department of Health (DOH) said the number of active cases slightly fell to 20,511 in the country. The death toll remained unchanged at 60,641.
The Philippines reported the highest single-day tally of new COVID-19 infections at 39,004 cases on Jan. 15. The country has fully vaccinated over 71.3 million people.
