Sharing deepfake pornographic images will be criminally prosecuted in Australia

Sydney [Australia], June 2: AFP on June 2 reported that the Australian government has just announced new regulations with criminal prosecution for sharing pornographic images that are faked to look real ( deepfake ) of others without their consent.
The law is expected to be introduced to parliament next week with a prison sentence of up to 6 years for sharing deepfake pornographic images - digitally created pornographic material, often created using intelligence. artificial intelligence - without consent.
The act of creating that image without consent will also face a sentence of up to 7 years in prison.
