1,587 trains carrying migrants arrived in UP so far: Home Department

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), June 01 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department, Awanish Awasthi, on June 01 said till 2pm today, 1587 trains carrying migrants have arrived in Uttar Pradesh, and 16 trains are also arriving today. He said, "Till 2 pm today, 1587 trains carrying migrants have arrived in Uttar Pradesh, 16 trains are arriving today. 60 trains will be arriving in 2-3 days. With this, the number of people arriving in UP by trains will reach around 22.5 lakh." The total number of COVID-19 cases in UP has reached 7823, and 213 deaths have been reported so far in the state.
