Jaipur (Rajasthan), April 18 (ANI): Interacting with the media through video conference Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said “Industrial units will operate from April 20 under the modified lockdown and migrant labourers, who are still staying here, will start getting work.” He said that on the basis of report prepared by the committee constituted under the chairmanship of his economic advisor Arvind Mayaram, government will take appropriate steps towards improving the economic situation. Slowly the economy of the state will start coming back on track. CM said that except for the areas where hotspots have been identified in the state, limited economic activities will be conducted keeping in mind the social distancing. Apart from this, work could also be started in industrial areas during the modified lockdown. CM Gehlot also said that the state government is insisting on taking more number of tests to detect corona positive patients. Currently testing capacity is 4 thousand per day, which would increase to 10 thousand in the next few days. Tests are being done on priority basis in the areas identified as hotspots. Due to the increasing number of tests, number of positive patients is also increasing. But timely detection of positive cases is helping to prevent spreading of infection to other healthy people.
