Aurangabad (Maharashtra), May 29 (ANI): As health care workers continue to work round the clock selflessly to control the coronavirus spread, organisations as well as individuals are coming up with ideas to mitigate the risk. In a recent instance, a seventh standard student, Sai Suresh Rangdal, has designed a robot in Aurangabad for contactless delivery of medicine and food to patients. He said, "The robot is operated by battery and can be controlled by a smartphone. It can carry items weighing up to 1 kg. The aim behind designing this robot was to reduce physical contact of medical staff with coronavirus patients and hence reducing their change of contracting COVID-19.”
