COVID-19: Pune based start-up develops sanitization unit to disinfect surface area

Pune (Maharashtra), Apr 05 (ANI): A start-up based in Maharashtra's Pune developed a sanitization unit to disinfect surface area. PadCare Labs developed a sanitization unit with a view to fight with coronavirus pandemic. The sanitization unit can disinfect 80 sq ft area by 99.99 percentbacterial reduction in just 15 minutes. While speaking to ANI, entrepreneur, Ajinkya Dhariya said, "This sanitization unit works on the principle of UV mechanism. This sanitization unit can disinfect 80 sq ft area by 99.99 percentbacterial reduction in just 15 minutes of timeline. Within next week we will be installing these sanitization units at a local hospital." There are total 556 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra including 24 deaths and 42 cured. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 3030 in India and 77 deaths.
