Delhi Police chief inaugurates subsidiary central police canteen & recycling compost unit

New Delhi, 3 January (ANI): Commissioner of Delhi Police Amulya Patnaik inaugurated the Subsidiary Central Police Canteen in new building and Recycling Compost Unit at New Police Lines, Kingsway Camp, Delhi. It will cater to thousands of families living in the NPL Compound and adjoining police colonies. Subsidiary central police canteen is a welfare oriented and self sustained store to provide good quality of daily use consumer items to Delhi Police personnel and their family members at subsidized prices.Recycling Compost Unit is a system in which rich organic manure is generated from the organic waste generated in the campus. It is truly a decentralized waste management system that does not produce green house gases and is compatible with sustainable methods of achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
