Gadchiroli Police transforms lives of surrendered Naxalites, 48 gets jobs in Lloyds Metals

Gadchiroli (Maharashtra), January 10 (ANI): Gadchiroli Police has raised new hopes in the lives of surrendered Naxalites. A total of 48 surrendered Naxalites were selected for various jobs in Lloyds Metals a, newly established company in the region. They got jobs in various units of Lloyds at a salary of 15 to 20 thousand rupees. On Naxalites offered a job, Gadchiroli SP said, “Since the establishment of Gadchiroli district, a total of 600 Naxalites have surrendered... We provide land, money and assistance for building a house... Some of them were working as daily wagers due to which they were not able to sustain a living and therefore Gadchiroli police contacted Lloyds Metals, who took the initiative of profiling and selecting 48 Naxalites... Based on training, they have been employed with a monthly salary of Rs 15 to 20 thousand... In the last 7 days, 13 Naxalites have surrendered and Lloods Metals rehabilitates them after doing their profiling, sending them to different units based on their qualification and training them for 3 months... Gadchiroli police appeals to the Naxalites still roaming with weapons to surrender and they will definitely be assisted in all the possible ways..."
