Goa Health Minister inspects screening facilities at Dabolim airport amid coronavirus scare

Panaji (Goa), Mar 19 (ANI): The Health Minister of Goa Vishwajit Rane inspected Dabolim Airport on March 19. He visited the airport for inspecting procedures adopted and screening facilities taken in the wake of coronavirus threat. Vishwajit Rane also took stock of preparedness in view of Coronavirus Pandemic. He arrived at airport at around 02:00 am for monitoring facilities. While speaking to ANI, Vishwajit Rane said, “We had a visit to the airport. The whole idea was that we wanted to have an inspection of the facilities that are there at the airport.” Rane also added that soon domestic passengers would also be screened as many foreigners would also travel in domestic flights, and added that more doctors would be stationed at the airport to enhance the screening facilities. The number of positive cases of coronavirus has climbed to 152 in India, including 25 foreign nationals.
