Gujarat’s ‘Digital Health+ Card initiative for students’ wins SKOCH Gold Award

The Gujarat government's School Health Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram Digital Health+ Card program has won the prestigious SKOCH Gold Award. Launched in June 2023, it has issued over 1.15 crore digital health cards annually, supported by 992 mobile health teams. These teams conduct health screenings, generate digital records, and provide timely medical interventions. Health officials are proud of the recognition, highlighting Gujarat’s leadership in using digital solutions to improve public healthcare. This initiative ensures every child receives necessary medical attention, promoting a healthier future.
