Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Oct 08 (ANI): With a thought to save environment from getting polluted on Vijaya Dashami, people came up with a unique idea. They celebrated the festival by putting up a 40-feet Ravana poster instead of an effigy. The poster was put up at Nayapalli area of Odisha’s Bhubaneswar. A man later climbed up and tore it instead of burning it. Traditionally, Ravana effigy is burnt to mark the victory of good over evil on the occasion. The festival of Dusshera was celebrated across the country on October 08.
