Mumbai, April 09 (ANI): ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2’ director Dibakar Banerjee and the star cast of the movie engaged in a special interview with ANI on April 08 in Mumbai. The movie is the second installment of its prequel ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka’ released in 2010 directed by Dibakar Banerjee. This time the movie focuses on the interconnected tales of love, friendship, and self-discovery in the digital era and navigating the complexities of modern relationships and personal identity. The film produced by Balaji motion pictures will hit the theatres on April 19. Speaking to ANI, reflecting on the role of films in society, Dibakar Banerjee highlighted the constraints faced by filmmakers when addressing subjects like love and sex. He remarked, "Because we all show something from above and do something inside." Giving his opinion on censor board, Banerjee prompted, “Censor board is almost dictating what audience should watch and what not.” Bonita, making her debut as a transgender character in the film, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to challenge stereotypes and provide authentic representation. She emphasized, “It's important to challenge stereotypes and provide authentic representation.” Paritosh and Abhinav also shared insights about how they land into their roles and their experience working in the film.
