Inter-caste couples in Kerala can soon stay in govt-supported homes after marriage

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Mar 07 (ANI): To promote inter-caste marriages in Kerala, the state government will soon come with a plan where inter-caste couples can stay for a year in government-supported homes after marriage. While speaking to ANI, Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja said, “We are thinking of opening a home where inter-caste married couples can stay for a year safely with government facilities. These homes will be for people who cannot afford a living after marriage.” The Health Minister also inaugurated ‘One Day Home’ in Thiruvananthapuram on March 07.
