Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren attended video-conference chaired by PM Modi

Ranchi (Jharkhand), Apr 12 (ANI): Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended video-conference in Ranchi chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 11 over extension of lockdown. CM Soren put forth his concerns during the joint-meeting with other Chief Ministers. PM Modi thanked the states for supporting the decision of the 21-day nationwide lockdown and praised how all the states have worked together as a team to check the spread of the virus. The Prime Minister also forewarned that the global situation remains far from satisfactory and informed about speculations of a possible second wave of the virus spread in some countries. There are total 17 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Jharkhand including 1 death. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 7367 in India and 273 deaths.
