Kashmir should never be brought into UN’s agenda: Russian Envoy on China’s move

New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): Russian Ambassador to India, Nikolay Kudashev on Russia's position on the closed-door meeting on Kashmir, called by China, in UNSC asserted that the country has never been in favour of bringing the issue into UN agenda. He called the issue as a bilateral matter for India and Pakistan to discuss on. “As far as the discussions within UNSC are concerned, we have never been in favour of bringing this issue into the United Nations agenda. This is strictly a bilateral matter for India and Pakistan to discuss on the basis of Shimla Agreement and Lahore Declaration,” said Russian Ambassador to India.
