“Khalistan trying to provoke Hindus…” Canadian MP Chandra Arya fires fresh salvo at Justin Trudeau

Diplomatic rift continues between India-Canada after Justin Trudeau’s grave allegations against India. Trudeau has said that Govt is looking at “credible allegations potentially linking” India’s involvement in killing of terrorist Nijjar. Hardeep Nijjar was a pro-Khalistani terrorist who died outside a Gurudwara in Canada’s Surrey in June 2023. Amid rising diplomatic rift, Justin Trudeau faced backlash over his grave allegations against India without evidence. Now, Chandra Arya a Member of Canadian Parliament highlighted rising hate crimes against Hindus, Sikhs in Canada. He called out Khalistan sympathizer, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the President of SFJ for provoking Hindus in Canada. Canadian MP also urged Hindu-Canadians to stay calm but vigilant amid rising tensions between India, Canada. Earlier, on Sept 19, Canadian LoP Poilievre asked Trudeau to come clean with all facts over his grave allegations against India. Amid rising tension between both countries, India and Canada issued new travel advisory for their citizens. Canada poked India with a fresh travel advisory and asked its citizens to exercise a “high degree of caution”. India gave Canada the taste of its own medicine and issued a travel advisory for Indian nationals in Canada. New Delhi urged its citizens in Canada to “exercise utmost caution” for those who contemplating travel. However, as the tensions escalate between India and Canada, Justin Trudeau ‘softened’ his tone on India.
