Lockdown 4.0: Work resumes at tea gardens in Assam

Dibrugarh (Assam), May 21 (ANI): Many tea gardens in Assam started working with full workforce as more relaxations have been given in lockdown 4.0 to open up economy in wake of COVID-19 pandemic which has infected over 1 lakh people in India. Tea plucking underway at a tea garden in Dibrugarh as government released revised guidelines for lockdown 4.0. However, the employees are following guideline given by MHA. “We're following the norms of social distancing while working and also taking precautionary measures like washing our hands frequently,” an employee said.
