Locusts hit Bikaner following Pokhran district in Rajasthan

Bikaner (Rajasthan), May 31 (ANI): Swarms of locusts on May 30 hit Rajasthan’s Bikaner following Pokhran district. Locusts, also known as ‘Tiddi Dal’ in North India, are a type of grass hoppers that move in a large number. Cotton crops in Khajuwala area were damaged due to locusts attack. Massive swarms of desert locusts have been reported destroying crops in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh.
