Maharashtra: Truck falls upside down in Pune, recovered by the fire department

Pune (Maharashtra), September 21, (ANI): A truck fell upside down in the premises of the city post office in the Budwar Peth area of Pune city on September 20. The truck belongs to the Pune municipal corporation and was there for drainage cleaning work. 20 Jawans of the fire department and police officials arrived at the spot for the rescue operation. Nilesh Mahajan, Fire Department PRO said, “We received a call around 4-4.15 pm today...In the preliminary information, we found out that drainage was about to be cleaned here and the truck had come for that. It suddenly fell into the pit. The driver managed to jump out...We have called JCB machines and cranes to pull the truck out. The pit might be 40-50 ft deep.”
