New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): On the One Nation One Election (ONOE) Bill, Independent MP Pappu Yadav questioned PM Narendra Modi’s absence during the debate in Lok Sabha and said, “In 2017, the Election Commission (EC) and law commission rejected (ONOE) saying that it will be an attack on diversity, expression, and the federal system. They (BJP) talk about saving money. A huge amount is spent on the advertisements of PM and CM. They spend tax money on bailouts… Save this money first… Give a budget to the EC and tell them to conduct the elections within 15 days within that budget… They (BJP) didn’t speak of ONOE when they came into power thrice when they needed 300 seats. Now when they need 362 seats, they are talking of implementing ONOE…. Narendra Modi was absent (in the Parliament) during such a crucial bill (hearing)... Currently, the need is for One Nation One Education, One Health, One Justice, One Economy.
