‘Plog Run' organized by Delhi Police on Gandhi Jayanti

New Delhi, Oct 03 (ANI): Police organized a 'Plog Run' in Delhi near the Yamuna river bed at Geeta Colony on the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This run was flagged off by Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal. The motive of Delhi police behind the run was aware the citizens to dump single-use plastic. Students, teachers, parents and RWAs of Delhi participated in this event enthusiastically. All the people participating in this race collected the garbage and made people aware about cleanliness. With this effort of Delhi Police, people will be aware of cleanliness and will come forward to contribute in cleanliness. Plogging is a concept that brings together both fitness and cleanliness as participants pick up plastic and other waste from road while jogging. Delhi Police is constantly promoting this concept and making people aware of their heath and cleanliness.
