As Hezbollah confirmed Hassan Nasrallah’s death news, this marks a devastating blow to the Lebanese militant group. The Israeli military stated that fighter jets targeted the group’s Central HQ in the southern suburbs of Beirut the previous day. Meanwhile, the fire of outrage over the ‘killing’ of the Hezbollah chief Nasrallah has also reached India. Denouncing the killing of Hezbollah Chief, a protest march was held in J&K’s Budgam on September 28. A sea of crowd, including women participated in the protest while raising slogans in favour of Hezbollah and Palestine. Meanwhile, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti also informed that she is cancelling her election campaign in solidarity with the martyrs of Lebanon. On the other hand, President of J&K’s Anjuman-e-Sharie, Shian Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi said that no matter how much they mourn it will always be lesser. Nasrallah’s death marked an enormous blow to Hezbollah and Iran, which established the group through its Revolutionary Guards in 1982. Following the attack on September 27, Israel launched a new series of airstrikes targeting Beirut’s southern suburbs and other regions of Lebanon.
