Rajasthan to provide COVID-19 test facility to neighbouring states

Jaipur (Rajasthan), June 17 (ANI): Reviewing the status of corona infection at a high level meeting Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that in this critical time of COVID-19 pandemic, saving people's lives is our top priority. In such a situation, Rajasthan will provide the facility of upto 5000 tests per day to the neighboring states of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat, if required. The CM said that Rajasthan now has the test capacity of more than 15 thousand per day. Our government is ready to support neighboring states to investigate corona in this time of trouble. In the meeting, the CM underlined that Rajasthan was cautious about corona from the beginning. Our recovery rate from corona is better than the national average due to strengthening the health infrastructure as well as more and more tests, continuous monitoring of high risk people suffering from serious illnesses and frequent screening in all houses. Currently, the condition of corona infection in Rajasthan is under control. During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that after unlock-1, it has been seen that people are not keeping up with the seriousness of the health protocol under corona. The threat of corona has not been averted. People should adhere to the health protocol otherwise the infection may increase.
