New Delhi, Sep 27 (ANI): Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut defended NCP Chief Sharad Pawar’s involvement in Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank (MSCB) scam case. He said that it has spoiled the atmosphere of Maharashtra and the whole country, there was no need of doing all this as Maharashtra will face assembly elections next month. “Government should have seen what is happening. ED should have had a discussion with government on this. Pawar ji is a tall leader, his followers are present throughout the state, and this will certainly have some reaction,” he further added. The Enforcement Directorate has registered a money laundering case purportedly involving NCP chief Sharad Pawar, his nephew Ajit Pawar and about 70 former functionaries of the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) to probe an alleged 25,000-crore scam.
