‘Should not make mistake…’ Pentagon chief warns Iran of any response to Israeli strikes on Tehran

New Delhi, October 27 (ANI): Israeli Defence Forces conducted its retaliatory strike ‘Operation Iran’ on October 26 in Tehran. The Israeli Army claimed the ‘right and duty’ to respond to the Oct 01 attack from Tehran and its proxies. The deadly strike killed four and dismantled several military bases in Tehran, raging the Iranian regime. A semi-official Iranian news agency vowed a "proportional reaction" to the Israeli strikes, reported Reuters. Meanwhile, Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin has warned Iran not to respond to the Israeli strikes. ‘Iran should not make the mistake of responding to Israel’s strikes...’ Times of Israel quoted Austin citing Reuters. IDF on October 26, released videos of fighter jets that conducted the deadly strikes on Tehran. In its retaliatory attack, IDF targeted Iran's surface-to-air missile arrays and its air capabilities aimed to counter Israel. Middle East was on edge in anticipation of Israeli retaliation for the ballistic missile barrage carried out by Iran on Oct 1. The ‘Oct 01 attack’ by Iran witnessed nearly 200 missiles at Israel, Iran's second direct attack on Israel in six months. Israeli PM Netanyahu who had warned Tehran of ‘severe consequences’ closely monitored ‘Operation Iran’. The strikes, which Iran said targeted Israeli military facilities, came after Israel killed top leadership of Iranian proxy, Hezbollah in Lebanon
