Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Apr 22 (ANI): Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on April 22 clarified Bharatiya Janata Party leader K Annamalai’s ‘Congress not support’ allegation. Responding to Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai’s statement on him regarding his UN Secretary-General candidature, Congress MP and candidate from Thiruvananthapuram, Shashi Tharoor said, “It is the Congress government that had nominated me. Dr Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister who nominated me. Sonia Gandhi was the Congress leader. Of course, they nominated me.”
