Villagers shift to fields in Karnataka’s Tumakuru over COVID-19 fear

Tumakuru (Karnataka), Apr 12 (ANI): Several villagers have been shifting to their fields in Karnataka’s Tumakuru district amid coronvirus fear. They have left their homes and shifted to green fields with their belongings due to COVID-19 outbreak. Around 60 families of Muddenahalli Village in Tumakuru are living in fields. They feel living in fields is better to avoid infection as village is comparatively congested. There are total 214 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Karnataka including 6 deaths and 37 cured. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 7367 in India and 273 deaths.
