Watch: Indian Coast Guard shoots flares in air to honour COVID-19 warriors

Mangalore (Karnataka), May 04 (ANI): To pay tribute to medical professionals and all other frontline workers in the view of coronavirus pandemic, Indian Coast Guard (ICG) fired flares in air at New Mangalore Port Trust in Panambur, Mangaluru. The ships were illuminated as a mark of gratitude and appreciation for frontline workers fighting COVID-19. This was part of Sunday’s salutation ceremony in which armed forces conducted flypasts and showered flower petals over hospitals across the country to honour COVID-19 warriors.
